The sponsor of the Contest was Gladwish Land Sales. In total there were
10 Kumite Groups depending on the age and the size of the competitor.
In the Kata section there were 5 groups, depending on the age and grade
of the competitor.
The Day started off at 9.00am with each student receiving an attendance
medal and certificate. The first event was the Kata competition with grades
ranging from white belt to black belt. At about 11.00am the Kumite competition
started with the younger children going first. As the day progressed each

final fights and all the spectators were getting exited as the final bouts
began. At 6.30pm the contest drew to a close, and the first four of each
group were presented with their trophies.
The organisers would like to thank Victor Gladwish of Gladwish
Land Sales, The Red Cross, Referee's, Judges, Officials, Helpers and
finally all the Competitors who helped to make this one of the best Contests
we have ever had!
Thank you so much for all your support!
